If you didn’t know that magic is coming to Storybrooke in season two of Once Upon a Time, then you haven’t been paying attention. The producers have said so. But what they failed to mention is what a mess magic would make of the town. Storybrooke — played by Fort Langley east of Vancouver today – is a disaster zone with blown-out windows in the Town Hall, an upside-down smashed vehicle, a fire truck and fire fighters and a populace in relief mode handing out blankets, bottles of water and toilet paper.
